Volume 23 of USP's Artists collection presents the work of Ana Calzavara, from her graduation in plastic arts, between 1990 and 1994, through a "training period in workshops", to her most recent production. There are 165 works, made in distinct visual languages and with specific expressivities, but they do have kinship and reciprocal influences. There are paintings, engravings, drawings and photographs around themes related to the conception of space and its ambiguities; overlays, cutouts, mirrors, transparencies, reflections - imprecise and diffuse images that are perceived in a certain landscape, empirical territory and basic source of the artist's experience. Accompanying the book texts by Claudio Mubarac, Cauê Alves and Alberto Martins, in addition to an interview of the artist to Fabrício Lopez.
